Q: What kind of blogs can Blog2Print print?

A: Blog2Print can print blogs from the following platforms: Blogger, Typepad, and WordPress.

Q: Can Blog2Print print self-hosted WordPress Blogs?

A: Yes! Blog2Print supports printing both hosted AND self-hosted WordPress blogs. The process is slightly different for self-hosted WordPress blogs, but don't worry, we'll walk you through it.

Q: What types of books are available at Blog2Print?

A: There are a few options currently available. All of our printed books are 8.5 by 11 inches. Here are the types that are currently available at Blog2Print: Deluxe Hardcover, Standard Hardcover, Standard Softcover, and Softcover Black & White. Blog2Print also offers a downloadable PDF option.

Q: What's the difference between the Deluxe Hardcover and the Standard Hardcover?

A: The Deluxe Hardcover is Blog2Print's premium blog book option. It has a separate, glossy book jacket that features your chosen cover design and cover photo. The book is bound with solid black cloth. The Deluxe Hardcover also features high quality glossy paper. The Standard Hardcover features a glossy laminated cover that has your cover design and photo. Both the Deluxe and Standard Hardcover are printed in full color.

Q: What are the page limits for each book type?

A: Both the Standard and Deluxe hardcover can only have 440 pages. A Softcover book can only have 500 pages. If your blog book is larger than these set page limits, our printing partner will automatically split your book into multiple volumes. Please note that when your book is split, Volume 1 and Volume 2 are automatically added to your book's title. If you'd prefer to have your book printed as one volume, simply remove items, such as posts or comments, from your book so that the page count is below the set limits.

Q: How big will my photos be in my blog book?

A: Blog2Print has three photo sizes: small, medium, and large. The photo size is determined by two things: the quality of photo and your chosen photo size. Here's a reference image to give you a better idea of the differences between the photo sizes.

Q: How do I change the photo size in my blog book?

A: Go to the Posts section of your saved blog book. In the top box you'll see a drop down menu of the photo sizes where you'll be able to select either small, medium, or large photos.

Q: I've chosen to have large photos in my blog book. What are the size requirements for large photos?

A: Photos have to be at least 850 pixels on their widest side to appear as large in your blog book. If your picture was taken by a 1MP (at least) camera AND it's been left in its original state, the photos will be large.

Q: I've chosen to have large photos in my blog book but my photos are not showing up as large. How do I fix that?

A: Only photos that satisfy the above requirements will appear as large.

Q: How do I make each blog post begin on a new page?

A: Go to the Posts section of your saved blog book. At the top of that section you'll be able to choose whether you want to insert page breaks between your each of your blog posts.

Q: How do I remove individual posts from my blog book?

A: After you've created your book and signed into your account to personalize, in the Contents section, find and select Posts. This will bring you to a page where you'll be able to select exactly which posts you want to keep. Simply uncheck a box if you'd like to remove that post from your book.

Q: Why won't my photos line up with my text?

A: Sounds like you selected our layout option, Compact. With Compact the photos are rearranged so that you use fewer pages in your book. It takes all of your posts and photos from your blog and then lays them out for you in a way that saves pages. If you'd like to keep your captions and text with their associated photos, try the Snapshot layout when you're making your book. Snapshot better approximates the layout of your blog.

Q: How do I change the start or end date of a saved blog book?

A: The best way to do to change the date range is to simply create a new blog book with your desired dates.

Q: How do I change the cover photo?

A: After you've opened your saved blog book, select Edit Front & Back Cover under the Contents section. From there you'll be able to choose your own front and back cover photo for your blog book using our handy photo upload-er tool.

Q: How do I change the title of my blog book?

A: Does your title need tweaking? Here's what you do: sign into your account and open the book you want to edit. In the Contents section, select Front & Back Cover. From there you'll be able to pick the perfect title. The Title has a 72 character limit. You'll also be able to edit your book's Side Text, which will appear along the side binding of the front cover. The Side Text has a character limit of 54. Your title will be front and center of your book so if you'd like your name to appear there too, be sure to include it!

Q: How can I remove comments from my book?

A: Here's what you do: After you've opened your blog book, under the Contents section, find and select Posts. This will bring you to a page that lists all of your posts and comments in your blog book. To remove all of the comments in one post just mouse over the post in question and select Remove All to remove all of the comments from the post.

To remove individual comments, select the post that you'd like to edit the comments. Just scroll to the comments section located at the bottom of the page (you may need to click the up arrow to make it visible), find the comment you'd like to delete, and click remove. Decided you want to delete all of the post's comments here? Simply scroll to the bottom of the comment section, and click Clear Selected Comments. Voila!

Q: Can I add more photos to my blog book?

A: You sure can! You can add more photos in a special section of your blog book called the My Pages section. Once you've saved your blog book, you can add as many photos as you want in the My Pages section of your book. After you sign in and open your book, under the Contents section, you'll find a link to My Pages. Here, you can add pages of photos or text. It's a perfect place for those photos that didn't make it on your blog.

Q: Is there a way to preview a sample of my blog book before I order?

A: There sure is! After you've signed into your account and opened the book you want to preview, just click the Preview Your Book button to see an online preview of your blog book! In fact, you are required to preview your book before you order your blog book.

Q: I really like Blog2Print and I want to learn more about promotional opportunities such as hosting a giveaway on my blog and/or advertising.
